Job summary

ABB is seeking a field service engineer to support on-site customer projects in Wisconsin. You will execute service work per instructions, identify issues, and communicate timelines to customers while ensuring quality and safety on ABB QCS systems.

This role requires an Associate degree with 5+ years in electrical/electronics or related fields (or a HS diploma with 7+ years). Travel up to 25% and legal work authorization in the US are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree plus 5+ years in electrical/electronics, instrumentation, or process control (military accepted).
• Or HS diploma with 7+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot up to 240 VAC/870 VDC.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve customer operations on-site (ABB QCS).
• Perform field service tasks and troubleshoot per certified scope.
• Prepare material lists and ensure parts availability for service activities.
• Train field service associates and customers when needed.
