Job summary

ABB in Port Arthur, TX is seeking a Process Analytics Field Service professional to identify operational improvements at customer sites and perform on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on analytical equipment.

You will travel about 10% and collaborate with customers, train field staff, and ensure parts and materials are ready for service activities, using strong technical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Technical Degree with 2+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Experience with startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of analytical equipment.
• Strong customer relationship and communication skills, minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel ~10% and hold a valid passport/driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Work on-site with customers to identify opportunities and reduce pain points.
• Perform field service tasks, identify issues, and analyze remotely or on-site.
• Prepare material lists and ensure availability of parts and equipment.
• Train field service staff and customers when needed.
• Conduct commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on analytical equipment.
