Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and remedial service on UPS, Power Distribution Units, and Battery systems. The role focuses on customer rapport, on-site reliability, and timely service delivery across Edge market customers including retail and municipal sectors.

Travel is required; strong safety and administrative discipline are expected. Training is provided, with opportunities for career development in a leading infrastructure solutions company.

Qualifications

• Experience (one or more of the following) preferred
• High School or Vocational School Diploma
• 2-4 years military experience in a related technical field
• 0-2 years of relevant industry experience

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and as per company policies and procedures
• Capable of working under direct supervision or independently based upon training completion
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers
• Communicate with Technical Support on technical or procedural issues
• Implement Field Change Notices per published guidelines
• Keep current on Safety Bulletins, Safety Field Change Notices, Field Change Notices, and Service Tips
