Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and remedial service on UPS, power distribution units, and battery systems (2-120KVA). The role requires on-the-job training and builds strong rapport with customers, co-workers, and sales teams while supporting the Edge market segment, including retail, financial, and municipal clients.

Travel is required, with a focus on safe, efficient service delivery and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• ASEET/AMEET or progress towards is preferred.
• High School or Vocational School Diploma is required.
• 2-4 years military experience in a related technical field.
• 0-2 years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and per company policies.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on technical or procedural issues.
• Maintain safety and company guidelines on all tasks.
• Meet on-site response time requirements for customers.
