Job summary

Alta Equipment Group in Tampa, FL is seeking a full-time Field Service Supervisor to lead and develop our field service team onsite five days a week. You will oversee 20+ technicians, manage scheduling, safety, and customer satisfaction, and drive service profitability.

Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance, organizing staff meetings, monitoring WIP and work orders, quoting repairs, payroll oversight, and recruiting technicians while ensuring adherence to Alta's guiding principles

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of management experience.
• Strong knowledge of electric and liquid propane industrial equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage others and lead a field service team.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead weekly tech meetings and safety training.
• Maintain high-quality service delivery in a productive and profitable manner.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules for service accounts.
• Organize, coordinate, and schedule all maintenance and customer work orders.
• Provide leadership for a team of 20+ field technicians.
• Dispatch work according to priority and monitor WIP.
• Quote repairs timely and accurately with PSSR involvement.
• Open/close work orders with clear customer billing.
• Recruit, interview, and hire technicians; perform yearly reviews.
• Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities.
