Job summary

Onebrief is seeking a Customer Success Engineer at Battle Road by Onebrief to deploy AtomEngine in live military training environments, including classified and air-gapped systems, where you’ll configure, extend, troubleshoot, and improve the platform with customers.

You will embed onsite at Fort Leavenworth, KS to understand operational needs, translate friction into actionable feedback, and work with engineering on APIs, tooling, and simulations to ensure successful exercises and scalable

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software engineering or customer-facing engineering roles.
• Production-quality software in languages C++, C#, Python, GDScript.
• Experience troubleshooting distributed systems, networking, or integrations.
• Able to work independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Active Secret or Top Secret clearance and prior military experience.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support AtomEngine in live military training environments, including classified and air-gapped systems, by extending entities, features, behaviors, sensors, and scenarios.
• Embed onsite with customers at Fort Leavenworth, KS to understand operational needs and provide feedback to prioritize engineering work.
• Integrate AtomEngine with partner systems by configuring APIs, networking, and infrastructure dependencies while troubleshooting issues in real time.
• Contribute to the backlog with the Software Engineering team using Godot, C++, C#, and Python.
• Explain technical concepts clearly to military stakeholders and internal teams during deployments and exercises.
• Improve documentation, deployment processes, and repeatability for scalable deployments.
• Travel occasionally to support customer engagements.
