Job summary

Cooler Master USA is seeking a technically driven Field Applications Engineer to support thermal management and liquid cooling solutions at customer sites. This highly mobile role requires frequent travel across Texas, with international training opportunities at our Asia headquarters.

The position involves pre-sales and post-sales support, product demonstrations, installation, and ongoing technical assistance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Thermal engineering or related field.
3–5 years of Field Applications Engineer or similar role.
Strong understanding of thermal management including cooling and liquid cooling.
Experience evaluating, testing, troubleshooting, and analyzing performance.
Knowledge of electronic components, circuit design, and electrical systems.
Familiarity with CAD software and thermal simulation tools.
Understanding of industry standards and best practices in thermal management.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and presentation abilities.
Ability to work independently at customer sites while collaborating with teams.
Willingness to travel frequently (including international).
Mandarin language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on technical support during pre-sales and post-sales.
Travel regularly to customer sites for demonstrations, installations, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with Sales to tailor technical solutions.
Conduct onsite customer training and ensure proper product implementation.
Coordinate with Engineering for field feedback and product improvements.
Support product evaluations, testing, and performance analysis at customer sites.
Prepare technical documentation and visit summaries as required.
Stay current on industry trends and product knowledge.
