Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Cloud Service Provider Engineer to support the operation and sustainment of private cloud infrastructure for the DISA Managed Services program. The role requires an active Secret clearance, US citizenship, and 8+ years of enterprise infrastructure experience.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• 8+ years of enterprise infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Rocky Linux.
• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi or VMware Cloud Foundation.
• Experience with enterprise storage and backup platforms.
• Scripting/automation using PowerShell, Python, PowerCLI, Bash, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise cloud and virtualized infrastructure, monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Perform infrastructure upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management across cloud and on-prem platforms.
• Participate in Incident, Problem, and Change Management per ITIL frameworks.
• Develop automation scripts and operational improvements to increase efficiency.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, storage, and networking teams to deliver secure services.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to support mission-critical operations.
