Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a CSP Engineer to support the operation and sustainment of private cloud infrastructure for DoD DISA Managed Services. The role requires an active Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and 8+ years of enterprise infra experience. Location options include multiple states; onsite work is expected.

The engineer will troubleshoot, automate, and document across Linux, virtualization, and storage platforms, participating in ITIL processes and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, cloud, or managed services environments.
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Rocky Linux, or similar Linux distributions.
• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, or VMware Cloud Foundation.
• Experience with enterprise storage and backup platforms.
• Scripting or automation using PowerShell, Python, PowerCLI, Bash, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise cloud and virtualized infrastructure including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of production system issues
• Perform infrastructure upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management across cloud and on-premises platforms
• Participate in Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes in line with ITIL
• Develop automation scripts and improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and SOPs
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, storage, and networking teams to deliver secure services
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to support mission-critical operations
