Job summary

CBRE is seeking an Technical Engineer to oversee engineering operations and supervise technicians at a Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical site in Pleasant Prairie, WI. This fully onsite role includes coordinating preventive maintenance and ensuring systems meet uptime targets.

You will train staff, schedule maintenance with clients, and apply engineering knowledge to deliver reliable building operations. Experience in supervisory roles and strong MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Oversee operations, assign work orders, and train coworkers and subcontractors.
• Consult with clients to schedule preventive maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Formulate and implement a preventive maintenance program for building systems.
• Oversee and inspect the work performed by engineering staff and ensure readiness.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and summon additional help as needed.
• Apply standard principles to complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share expertise across related disciplines.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values.
• Explain difficult information and work within broad guidelines.
