Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to serve as the single point of contact for client sites, coordinating services with engineers and vendors to deliver high-quality facility management. The role is on-site and involves cost-saving program implementation and comprehensive reporting.

Applicants should have 7+ years in facilities management, strong communication, vendor management, and MS Office/CMMS proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management/technical emphasis.
• 7+ years industry experience required either in the corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultant.
• Strong organizational and management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills; client facing.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Knowledge of real estate, telecommunications, furniture, accounting and building systems helpful.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, and MS SharePoint.
• Computer proficiency in CMMS tools and work order management.

Responsibilities

• Be point of contact for client, building engineers, and vendors for client sites in Baltimore area.
• Oversee delivery of services for multiple client sites.
• Develop and implement programs and procedures to reduce costs and increase productivity.
• Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual reporting for the client.
• Manage expense budgets with the client representative.
• Develop variance reporting for operating budgets for each property.
• Assist with annual management plan for buildings in the area.
• Coordinate with building engineering staff and landlords.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Position requires onsite daily with client.
