Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead a team responsible for operating and maintaining a portfolio of small to medium sized buildings in Burnsville, MN. The role emphasizes heavy involvement in budgeting, vendor management, and client relations, with a strong emphasis on mechanical/HVAC expertise.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8 to 5, with on-call requirements. On-site presence in Burnsville five days a week is required, with regular travel to other Minnesota sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Facility Management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff; conduct evaluations and coaching; assist in hiring and development.
• Schedule daily activities; set and track deadlines; mentor staff.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain client relationships and resolve facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, budgets, and variance reports.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance; uphold CBRE standards.
