Job summary

CBRE is hiring a Facilities Manager to lead a team responsible for operating and maintaining a portfolio of buildings in Pueblo, CO. The role is on-site five days a week, with regular travel to Colorado Springs, and emphasizes mechanical/HVAC expertise, staff supervision, budgeting, and client relationships.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), a valid driver’s license, and facility management certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Facility Management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and oversee recruiting and hiring.
• Schedule and manage the team's daily activities and cross-train staff.
• Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
• Perform facility inspections and suggest operational efficiencies and upgrades.
• Lead vendor relationships and invoicing procedures for projects.
• Conduct process training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.
