Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a 41,000-square-foot facility for a well-established nonprofit. This hands-on leadership role will coordinate with vendors, employees, and internal teams to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained building.

The position is 100% onsite with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, and offers medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of facilities management or operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.
• Experience working with outside contractors and service providers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Fully onsite work environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities operations and maintenance for a building.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors.
• Obtain quotes and evaluate options for facility issues.
• Monitor building systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, water, fire/safety, and security.
• Coordinate required inspections, certifications and compliance.
• Supervise the Facilities Supervisor and day-to-day onsite operations.
• Monitor work orders and maintenance requests through a ticketing system.
• Partner with internal departments on safety, technology, and employee concerns.
• Support emergency preparedness and business continuity initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve building operations and employee experience.
