Gosnaphop in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of a 41,000-square-foot facility. This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating with vendors, employees, and internal teams to keep the building safe, functional, and well maintained.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of facilities management or operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.
• Experience working with outside contractors and service providers.
• Ability to assess facility issues and provide thoughtful recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities operations and maintenance for a building.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and repair schedules.
• Manage relationships and communication with third‑party vendors.
• Obtain quotes, evaluate options, and recommend appropriate solutions for facility issues.
• Monitor building systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, water, fire/life safety, and security.
• Coordinate required inspections, certifications, and compliance requirements.
• Address facility needs such as plumbing, water heater issues, landscaping, janitorial repairs, and general building maintenance.
• Oversee the Facilities Supervisor and provide guidance on day‑to‑day onsite operations.
• Monitor work orders and maintenance requests through a ticketing system.
• Partner with internal departments on building‑related needs, safety, technology, and employee concerns.
• Support emergency preparedness, workplace safety, and business continuity initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve building operations, processes, and the overall employee experience.
