Job summary

Airbus Americas seeks a Facilities Coordinator for its Mobile, AL site to oversee third-party service providers, coordinate maintenance contracts (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and ensure safe, compliant site operations supporting the Final Assembly Line.

You will lead facilities activities across teams, manage budgets, collaborate with suppliers and internal customers, and drive continuous improvement in site services while upholding Airbus values and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years Facilities Management progressive experience.
• 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of current industry trends, best practices and technology.
• Specified focus on HVAC, plumbing or electrical preferred.
• Operational experience using SAP preferred.
• Knowledge and successful application of project management practices.
• Analytical and quantitative skills with proven ability to develop strategic solutions.
• Budgetary management is critical.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day to day facilities responsibilities for the FAL including the functioning of building systems in support of business priorities and to meet or exceed KPI's & metrics.
• Ensuring adherence of regulations of all applicable federal and local laws with respect to the position's scope of work.
• Partner with external vendors to deliver in accordance with operational requests, anticipating the need when possible.
• Ensure customer satisfaction at all levels in the organization; demonstrate leadership responsiveness and creativity.
• Manage integration of FM technology platforms and processes across sites to ensure seamless delivery to customer and drive one-team mentality.
• Work across the facilities team, both local and in the US, to support a one team approach to delivering services.
