Job summary

Airbus is seeking a Facilities Program Manager in Mobile, AL. The role focuses on Environmental activities from an FMRE perspective and serves as communications lead for FMRE back to programs and customers at the Mobile site.

You will join a team building A320 and A220 lines, working onsite to develop environmental programs, manage stakeholders, and drive sustainable practices across maintenance and real estate operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business or certification with 6+ years of related experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Program Management within Facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and oversee environmental strategies and action plans with site environmental management to ensure sustainable development.
• Lead the development and review of technical documents including environmental policies, procedures, programs and guidance documents.
• Liaise with internal/external stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress toward environmental goals.
• Set sustainability targets and develop plans managed by the site to meet them.
• Provide program support to the site environmental department regarding regulatory compliance and SOPs.
• Oversee the lifecycle of environmental projects: carbon footprint reduction, waste management, energy efficiency and water conservation.
• Ensure FMRE activities align with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
• Partner with FMRE teams to integrate sustainable practices into maintenance and real estate operations.
• Establish and monitor environmental KPIs such as energy intensity and water usage.
• Coordinate crisis communications during facility-related emergencies and manage inquiries about facility impacts.
