Job summary

Innovative Consulting & Management Services (ICMS) is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Facilities Engineering Management) to oversee on-site operations, safety, and performance for federal and commercial facilities. You will plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance, manage vendors, and ensure quality while maintaining clear client communication.

This exempt, full-time role requires leadership, budgeting, and strong reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience as a project/engineering manager leading multi-disciplined teams in facilities maintenance.
• Strong understanding of building MEP, fire protection, life safety systems and related equipment.
• PMP and/or FMP certification desired, with experience managing contracts, budgets, and schedules.
• Proven leadership, communication, and proposal cost development abilities.
• Experience with service desks and data tracking systems (NCMMS or similar).
• Ability to obtain required security clearance and pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site facility operations, maintenance, custodial and support services.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage safety, quality, and performance under contract.
• Negotiate task orders up to $100,000 and manage vendor coordination.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with metrics.
• Maintain accurate CMMS records and performance reporting for clients.
• Lead cross-functional teams and ensure exceptional client communication and satisfaction.
