Job summary

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina in Columbia, SC is seeking an Event Marketing Coordinator to create and manage community sponsorships, member events, and promotional campaigns. This full-time onsite position requires a 40-hour week, weekday schedule, and occasional overtime.

You will coordinate promotional materials, work with members and vendors, and prepare management reports. A Bachelor's or 4 years related experience is expected; 1 year in marketing/events preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree with 4 years related experience or 2 years with an Associate.
• 1 year marketing experience and event promotion/coordination.
• Strong design/production knowledge of marketing materials.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, produce, manage and evaluate community sponsorships and events.
• Coordinate posters, flyers, and advertising for events including social media.
• Work with Membership to manage member programs and eligibility.
• Obtain bids from vendors and coordinate material distribution.
