Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Event & AV services technician for an onsite 12+ month contract in San Jose, California. The role requires handling video conferences, live events, and AV equipment, with a focus on stable operations and excellent user experience.

Ideal candidates will bring extensive exposure to Cisco/CUCM, Teams/Zoom, and Crestron/Extron systems, plus strong collaboration across IT and events teams. Onsite duties and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

5–7 years of related work experience.
Operate and upgrade video conferencing equipment and infrastructure.
Proficient with Microsoft 365 apps (Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Knowledge of networking and video infrastructure concepts.
Experience with live event AV support and run-of-show materials.

Responsibilities

Set up and manage video conferencing for internal/external meetings.
Produce Run of Show documents and attendance reports.
Collaborate with operations to improve processes and user experience.
Troubleshoot and resolve video conferencing incidents and hardware/software issues.
Schedule, test, and coordinate events with vendors as needed.
