Job summary

CFS in Baltimore, MD is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to prepare accurate project bids, cost estimates, and proposals for construction projects. This onsite role works closely with vendors, subcontractors, project managers, and customers to support projects from preconstruction through completion.

The position is onsite five days a week with some flexibility. Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 base, plus up to 30% bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Must have reading and interpretation of construction drawings.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
• Experience in construction estimating preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bids, and proposals.
• Review drawings, specs, and project requirements.
• Solicit and analyze vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Coordinate bid documents and estimating records.
• Develop conceptual budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist with turnover and change-order pricing.
• Build relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Manage multiple bids and deadlines.
