Job summary

CSG Talent is partnering with a growing exterior construction contractor in Baltimore to hire an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator. The role focuses on preparing accurate estimates and proposals for diverse roofing projects in the Baltimore market.

You will review plans, perform detailed takeoffs, and develop pricing for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors while coordinating with general contractors, suppliers, and clients through the bidding process.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience.
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, coatings).
• Ability to read architectural drawings and specs.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates and proposals for commercial roofing projects.
• Review plans, specs, bid documents, and project requirements.
• Perform material and labor takeoffs.
• Develop pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with general contractors, suppliers, and clients during bidding.
• Support value engineering and alternate system pricing.
• Maintain bid documentation and estimating records.
• Assist with transition of awarded projects to PM/ops.
• Manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
