Fermilab is seeking an ESH Coordinator for the LBNF/DUNE project in Batavia, IL, for a 3-year term. The role focuses on leading ESH policy development, compliance, and contractor oversight across near-site facilities, beamline, and detector teams.

Onsite work arrangement is required, and sponsorship is not available. The position emphasizes document control, audits, hazard analysis, and stakeholder coordination to ensure a safe and compliant laboratory environment while supporting multi-site

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in ESH and 10+ years of experience; or Bachelor’s Degree and 15+ years or High School diploma with 20 years applicable experience.
• Essential: Managerial, Environmental Protection, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene.
• Certifications preferred: CSP, CIH, ASQ or equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Develop, drafts, monitors, and provides document control for the ESH policies, programs and standards.
• Initiate Division/Section specific ESH policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Act as the ESH expert or lead for Division/Section/Center projects and programs.
• Serve on a laboratory ESH subcommittee and implement policies.
• Lead the development of ES&H contractor assurance programs and ensure compliance.
• Provide daily oversight to NSCF Construction Manager Advisor Field ESH Coordinators.
• Assist in Hazard Analysis (HA) and construction planning with Subcontractors.
• Initiate, perform, and document jobsite inspections and audits.
• Review engineering documents for compliance with codes and standards.
• Submit reports to management based on ESH performance.
