Job summary

Fermilab invites a Logistics Coordinator to join the LBNF/DUNE project in Lead, SD. This onsite role focuses on coordinating receipt and transport of materials to the SURF site, maintaining records, and ensuring accurate data uploads.

The position supports international and national stakeholders and requires travel as needed. Applicants should have a high school diploma (associate degree preferred) and 1+ year experience in logistics or inventory management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 1+ year in administrative, logistics or inventory management environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics from offsite storage to SURF underground project site.
• Maintain shipment records, inventory levels and logistics activities.
• Develop plans and schedules to optimize material distribution.
• Verify goods received against PO or delivery lists.
• Assist with audits and resolve shipping discrepancies.
