Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 8+ years of experience OR Master's degree with 5+ years experience.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Experience working with equipment OEMs, vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, manuals and docs.
• Experience with CNC, automation, robotics, PLCs, hydraulics or similar equipment preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Aufgaben

• Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and engineering support for manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Coordinate OEM and vendor field service activities including troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, upgrades, and installations.
• Develop and review scopes of work, proposals, service recommendations, and equipment solutions; manage vendor activities from problem ID to acceptance.
• Support Maintenance Technicians and Engineers with complex or recurring equipment problems.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support maintenance strategies.
• Review vendor performance, service costs, warranties, contracts, and invoices; maintain service history and lessons learned.
• Ensure vendor work meets safety, quality, engineering, and aerospace requirements; support lifecycle planning and repair/replacement decisions.
