Job summary

RTX, a leader in aerospace and defense, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Goleta, CA. This onsite role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

You will contribute to producing cutting-edge aerospace components and supporting defense applications. Responsibilities include writing manufacturing plans, generating BOMs, reviewing tooling, and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field by start date.
• Experience in manufacturing processes and/or assembly of mechanical and electronic assemblies.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite for daily communications and documenting manufacturing processes.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government issued clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Write manufacturing plans and instructions in accordance with specifications, quality, safety, and security.
• Generate Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Participate in tooling reviews and evaluate tool designs.
