Job summary

Veolia North America seeks a Waste Services Technician to safely manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste at client sites in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities include handling paperwork, coordinating with on-site teams, and maintaining equipment while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The role requires a CDL and Hazwoper certification, with opportunities for growth within Veolia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related discipline required.
• 2–4 years of industry-related work and customer service preferred.
• OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper Certification required.
• Commercial Driver's License Class A or B required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional image with clients by answering inquiries and suggesting solutions.
• Manage onsite hazardous and non-hazardous waste needs per the contract.
• Comply with all environmental, health, and safety policies.
• Ensure completion and accuracy of US DOT/EPA paperwork for waste disposal.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely to complete projects on time.
• Understand contract terms and follow through on assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
