Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a Facility Environmental Technician to provide hazardous and non-hazardous waste services at client facilities in strict compliance with state and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.

You will work supervised or independently to complete scheduled projects, including packing, labeling, manifesting and shipping waste per contract parameters, while maintaining a professional image with clients and ensuring DOT/EPA paperwork accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• 2–4 years of industry-related experience and customer service preferred.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional image with clients and suggest solutions.
• Manage on-site hazardous and non-hazardous waste needs per contract.
• Comply with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure completion and accuracy of all US DOT/EPA paperwork.
• Operate and maintain all equipment safely and efficiently to complete projects on time.
• Understand contract terms and follow through on assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
