Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking an Environmental Services Specialist to provide hazardous and non-hazardous services at client facilities, ensuring compliance with state and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations. You will manage on-site waste needs and complete critical paperwork to expedite disposal.

The position requires strong leadership, project management skills, and a service mindset to support diverse clients and ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Science related discipline.
• 2-4 years of experience in industry-related work and customer service preferred.
• OSHA 40 hour Hazwoper Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional image with clients and propose solutions to problems.
• Manage onsite hazardous and non-hazardous waste needs.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
• Complete and verify all US DOT/EPA paperwork for waste disposal.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely to complete projects on time.
• Follow contract terms and adapt to assignments.
