Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a hazardous and non-hazardous waste technician to support client facilities and comply with state and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations. The role may involve packing, labeling, manifesting, and shipping waste according to contract parameters.

Responsibilities include maintaining a professional image with clients, managing onsite waste needs, enforcing safety policies, completing DOT/EPA paperwork, and safely operating equipment to finish

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field.
2–4 years of industry experience and customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain professional image with clients by answering inquiries and suggesting solutions.
Manage onsite customer's hazardous and non-hazardous waste needs per the contract.
Comply and enforce all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
Ensure completion and accuracy of all US DOT/EPA paperwork to expedite disposal of hazardous waste.
Operate and maintain equipment safely to complete assigned projects.
Follow through on contract terms and assignments.
Other work related duties, as assigned.
