Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain DOE Q clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic/Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• Advanced understanding of PCBAs, cable harnesses, and electro-optical/mechanical assemblies.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Significant experience with purchasing requisitions, approvals, and contracting.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical oversight and coordination for electronic and mechanical orders and Work Orders.
• Collaborate with suppliers, requestors, Procurement, Production Control, NIF warehouse, Receiving, and onsite shops to meet cost and schedule goals.
• Oversee setup and use of MRP systems; break down drawings; maintain MBOMs; issue Work Orders.
• Transport and deliver parts around LLNL sites and to local suppliers as needed.
• Provide regular status updates and resolve supply issues affecting milestones.
• Review drawings and electrical schematics with Designers/Engineers; assess fabrication proposals.
