Cupertino Electric, Inc. is seeking a Safety Specialist - Energy to support project teams in creating an Incident and Injury Free Culture. The role ensures compliance with safety regulations and helps develop the Project Safety Roadmap.

The position reports to a Project Safety Manager or Area Safety Manager and emphasizes daily field safety execution. Responsibilities include field walks, coaching, orientations, basic training, incident investigations, and risk escalation.

Qualificações

• OSHA 30 Construction required.
• 0-2 years of construction safety experience.
• Valid state driver’s license and no driving restrictions.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate safety programs via daily field walks and log observations.
• Assist with project-specific corrective action plans for safety issues.
• Provide coaching and recognition for safe behaviors.
• Support safety orientations for new project personnel.
• Assist with basic safety training (HazCom, Fall Protection, LOTO).
• Support incident investigations and injury/illness case facilitation.
• Raise potential compliance risks to Safety leadership.
• Attend and participate in daily safety meetings and provide feedback.
• Help ensure foremen and crews follow program elements.
