Job summary
KARL STORZ Endoscopy-America is seeking an Onsite Endoscopic Specialist to serve as the primary technical resource for endoscopic and imaging systems in hospital ORs and procedure rooms. You will prepare, operate, and troubleshoot equipment during procedures, perform preventive maintenance, and train surgical teams on safe operation.
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and biomedical staff to uphold quality, safety, and compliance while documenting service activities and supporting product
Qualifications
- Experience servicing endoscopic and imaging systems in ORs.
- Ability to train clinical staff on safe operation and infection control.
- Proficient in documenting service activities and equipment status.
Responsibilities
- Serve as onsite technical specialist for endoscopic and imaging systems in hospital ORs
- Prepare, configure, and operate endoscopy equipment
- Troubleshoot issues in real time
- Perform preventive maintenance and ensure equipment readiness
- Train staff on safe equipment use
- Ensure compliance with infection control and reprocessing standards
- Document service activities and equipment status
- Collaborate with sales and service teams to support customer satisfaction
- Provide OR clinical support during procedures
- Surgical imaging system support
- Medical device troubleshooting
- Hospital/OR safety and compliance
