KARL STORZ Endoscopy-America is seeking an Onsite Endoscopic Specialist to serve as the primary technical resource for endoscopic and imaging systems in hospital ORs and procedure rooms. You will prepare, operate, and troubleshoot equipment during procedures, perform preventive maintenance, and train surgical teams on safe operation.

Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and biomedical staff to uphold quality, safety, and compliance while documenting service activities and supporting product

Qualifications

Experience servicing endoscopic and imaging systems in ORs.

Job description

As an Onsite Endoscopic Specialist at KARL STORZ Endoscopy-America, you will be the primary technical resource supporting endoscopic and surgical imaging systems at customer facilities. You will prepare, operate, and troubleshoot endoscopy equipment during procedures, ensure proper maintenance and readiness of all systems, and collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and biomedical teams. You will train clinical staff, uphold strict quality and safety standards, and represent KARL STORZ’s commitment to innovation, reliability, and excellent service in support of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as onsite technical specialist for KARL STORZ endoscopic and imaging systems in hospital ORs and procedure rooms
Prepare, configure, and operate endoscopy equipment before and during procedures
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with endoscopic and surgical imaging systems in real time
Perform routine checks and coordinate preventive maintenance to ensure equipment readiness
Train surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff on safe and effective use of equipment and systems
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and reprocessing/sterilization standards
Document service activities, issues, and equipment status for internal and customer records
Collaborate with sales and service teams to support customer satisfaction and product adoption
