Job summary

KARL STORZ North America seeks an Onsite Endoscopic Specialist to support surgical technologies in a hospital setting. You will work with OR, Sterile Processing, and BioMed teams to ensure equipment readiness and provide hands-on support for endoscopic systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in sterile processing, surgical technology, medical device support, healthcare services, or similar clinical environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with competing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and reporting tools.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to OR, Sterile Processing, and BioMed teams to ensure equipment availability and surgical readiness.
• Set up, inspect, and support KARL STORZ video towers, integrated systems, and endoscopic equipment used in procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues in real time and coordinate repairs or service exchanges to minimize disruptions.
• Transport, clean, sterilize, inspect, and prepare surgical instruments per hospital and regulatory standards.
• Monitor equipment performance, manage repair workflows, and document instrument and device status.
