Job summary

KARL STORZ North America is seeking an Onsite Endoscopic Specialist to provide hands-on support for surgical technologies within a patient hospital setting. You will work with OR, SPD, and BioMed teams to ensure equipment availability and readiness for procedures.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, instrument care, and reliable service delivery, contributing to smooth operations and patient care outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in sterile processing, surgical technology, medical device support, healthcare services, sales, or clinical environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across departments.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, reporting).
• Physical ability to lift/move equipment up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to OR, Sterile Processing, and BioMed teams for equipment availability and surgical readiness.
• Set up, inspect, and support KARL STORZ video towers and endoscopic equipment used in procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues in real time and coordinate repairs or service exchanges.
• Transport, clean, sterilize, inspect, and prepare surgical instruments per standards.
• Monitor equipment performance and maintain documentation on instrument/device status.
