Job summary

KARL STORZ is seeking an Onsite Endoscopic Specialist to support advanced medical devices within hospital settings in Chicago, IL. This hands-on, customer-facing role works with OR, SPD, and BioMed teams to ensure surgical readiness and excellent patient outcomes.

You will engage with operating room technology, video systems, and instrument care, offering professional service and opportunities for long-term career growth across sales, leadership, and education.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; certification(s) or an associate degree required.
• 2–5 years’ experience in OES or sterile processing/surgical tech environment.
• Excellent communication within fast-paced teams.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, face-to-face support to OR, SPD, and BioMed teams.
• Set up and support video towers and integrated systems for procedures.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and coordinate instrument replacements.
• Transport, clean, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments.
• Manage repair processes and track equipment status.
• Troubleshoot real-time device issues in the OR.
