Accounting Search is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineering Manager for the Fremont area, CA. This 100% onsite, full-time role offers a salary range of $130,000–$150,000 per year.

The ideal candidate has extensive EMS/PCBA quality leadership experience, strong root-cause analysis skills, and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction while leading a quality engineering team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of quality experience in an EMS environment.
• 3+ years of quality leadership or management.
• Hands-on PCBA and box build manufacturing experience.
• Experience with customer escalations, audits and complaint resolution.
• Strong root cause analysis, 8D, CAPA and corrective action programs.
• Experience supporting SMT, Through-Hole, Functional Test, Final Inspection and NPI.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100 and IATF 16949.
• A track record of continuous improvement, defect reduction and scrap/rework reduction.
• Ability to lead and develop quality engineering teams.

• Lead and develop the quality engineering team to ensure product quality and process capability.
• Manage customer quality interactions, escalations, audits and complaint resolution.
• Drive measurable improvements in manufacturing quality, yield and defect reduction.
