Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Emergency Management Manager to join our team onsite in Alice Springs, Australia. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive emergency management programs, safety initiatives, and regulatory adherence to ensure maximum readiness.

Qualifications include U.S. Citizenship with TS/SCI/CI Poly, a bachelor’s degree (or master’s with relevant experience), and experience across emergency management, hazard analysis, and incident command.

Qualifications

• Requires U.S. Citizenship and active TS/SCI with CI polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 5+ years.
• Experience in Emergency Management, Fire Operations, Engineering, Business, or an ICS role.
• Experience with hazard identification, risk assessment, drills, and exercises.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety and emergency management plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct training on emergency procedures, life safety, and hazard-based topics.
• Lead emergency response activities and investigations of incidents.
• Coordinate Emergency Operations Center and related programs.
• Liaise with municipal, state, federal, and international agencies.
