Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced emergency management professional to provide services and project support across national, regional, state, and local levels. You will coordinate deliverables, engage with clients, and help enhance plans and exercises to improve readiness.

The role emphasizes research, analysis, and clear technical documentation, with opportunities for remote work and travel as required. A public trust clearance is expected, with Washington, D.C. as a preferred site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Public Administration, or related field.
• Experience in emergency management planning with understanding of planning processes and operational requirements.
• Familiarity with emergency management exercise programs, including development, execution, and evaluation.
• Successful completion of ICS and NIMS training courses.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for clear technical documents and client collaboration.
• Excellent research, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Willingness to work remotely, travel, and relocate to a project site (Washington, D.C. preferred).
• Preferred: CEM or AEM designation; extensive emergency management experience with large-scale planning involving multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional services and project implementation support, ensuring contractual obligations and deliverables are fulfilled on time.
• Collaborate with clients to understand needs, coordinate deliverables, resolve challenges, and maintain strong relationships.
• Contribute to emergency management planning teams at national, regional, state, and local levels.
• Conduct research and analysis to support development of technical deliverables and evidence-based recommendations.
• Assist in reviewing and refining emergency management plans for relevance and effectiveness.
• Support design, development, and implementation of emergency management exercises.
• Contribute to plan socialization and stakeholder engagement activities for understanding and coordination.
• Prepare briefings, reports, policy documents, and other project materials aligned with client expectations.
