Job summary

Moog's Santa Barbara Operations in Goleta, CA is growing, and we are seeking Associate Software Engineers to design, code, and test embedded real-time software for mission-critical systems. These roles require current or ability to obtain Security Clearance.

You will collaborate with hardware and systems teams, work with RTOS or embedded Linux, and develop device drivers and protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Software, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering or related field.
• Experience in design/development/test of embedded real-time control software.
• Hands-on experience with integrated hardware/software systems.
• Experience with control systems and signal processing (Systems Track).
• Experience with embedded Linux, cybersecurity tools, or RTOS.
• Travel up to 10-15%.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, debug, and integrate software for embedded real-time control systems.
• Work with RTOS or embedded Linux.
• Develop device drivers and communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553).
• Integrate systems in lab and field environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across hardware and systems.
