Job summary

Moog's Santa Barbara Operations in Goleta, CA is growing, and we are seeking Associate Software Engineers to design, code, and test embedded real-time software for mission-critical systems. These roles require current or ability to obtain Security Clearance.

You will collaborate with hardware and systems teams, work with RTOS or embedded Linux, and develop device drivers and protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Software, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering or related field.
• Experience in design/development/test of embedded real-time control software.
• Hands-on experience with integrated hardware/software systems.
• Experience with control systems and signal processing (Systems Track).
• Experience with embedded Linux, cybersecurity tools, or RTOS.
• Travel up to 10-15%.

About Our Work

Our Santa Barbara site specializes in:

• Stabilized Turret Drive Systems
• Integrated Weapon Systems (from mechanical design to fire control electronics and software)

Here's what you'll be working on day to day:

Here's what you will need to bring with you to be considered:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Software, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering, or a related technical field
• Either work or academic experience in the design/development/test of embedded real-time control software
• Either work or academic hands-on experience working with integrated hardware/software systems
• Either work or academic experience with control systems and signal processing (Systems Track)
• Either work or academic experience with embedded Linux, cybersecurity tools, or RTOS
• Travel may be required (up to 10-15%)

Salary Range Transparency

Santa Barbara, CA $80,000.00-$114,500.00 Annually
