RTX in McKinney, TX seeks a Senior Software Security Engineer to join the onsite Software Product Assurance team. You will implement security for embedded sensor software across platforms and develop applications in multiple languages while ensuring TDMC-based execution.

The role requires 5+ years of software experience or a master's in STEM, with C/C++ and scripting skills, and an active DoD Secret clearance from day one. This opportunity offers strong growth in aerospace and defense.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of relevant software experience or MS in STEM.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting (Python/Perl).
• Experience with RTOS, kernel or device drivers, and software integration.
• Active and transferable Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop software security for embedded sensor software across platforms.
• Apply software security principles to design, development, and testing.
• Create applications using multiple programming languages on diverse platforms.
• Ensure adherence to SW Product Assurance processes on programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement TDMC-based execution.
• Contribute to real-time software design and performance considerations.
