Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Test Engineer to develop test hardware and software from requirements through build and deployment, with close collaboration across multi-discipline teams in a U.S.-based role.

The role requires knowledge of hardware test systems, COTs equipment, and integration of electrical and mechanical subsystems; candidates should have DoD security clearance or eligibility and be able to work onsite in Marlborough, MA.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. Current and active DoD Security Clearance within one year of start date.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in engineering design and development, preferably related to Test equipment development efforts

Responsibilities

• Develop test hardware and software from requirements through build, integration, and deployment.
• Support manufacturing operations with on-site troubleshooting and collaboration with design teams.
• Design and develop test adapters and fixturing; work with mechanical engineers to ensure integration.
