Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking junior electronics technicians to support the design and testing of electronic products and systems. You will work on circuit cards, perform micro-soldering under a microscope, build cables and harnesses from schematics, and learn quality verification under supervision.

No prior defense experience is required; RTX will invest in your training. A HS diploma or 2-year degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience are expected, with eligibility to obtain a DoD

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with solder, mechanical, quality standards, processes, and/or documentation.
• Experience with cable and harness assembly, fabrication, and/or rework.

Responsibilities

• Modify, rework, and populate Engineering CCA’s, assemblies, and subassemblies.
• Perform required repairs to returned and damaged units to an operational state.
• Build cables and harnesses from schematics.
• Learn about quality verification and inspection under a microscope.
• Repair, and replace wire harnesses and cable assemblies, with oversight.
• Replace mechanical and electrical components, with oversight.
• Operate multi-meters or basic ohmmeters to conduct point-to-point current connection.
