Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Engineer II for Production Hardware in Tucson, AZ. Onsite, 1st shift, with U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities include developing/test­ing of RF/analog/digital/mixed‑signal circuits, debugging, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to resolve production issues. Relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in RF, analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuit design or analysis.
  • Experience with digital signal processing and laboratory equipment (waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers).
  • Familiarity with listed tools: Mentor Graphics, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB, Mathcad, IDL, CST, Microwave Design Studio, HFSS, ADS.
  • Knowledge of missile communication transceivers, data links, IMU, and GPS receiver subsystems.
  • Self‑starter capable of working independently and leading small technical teams.

Preferred Experience
  • Root‑cause corrective action investigations.
  • Electrical engineering design of CCA, EO, RF, seeker/sensor, or electronic subsystems.
  • Test automation scripting, test conduction, and sensor control.
  • Printed circuit board fabrication and circuit card assembly processes.
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC) for production yield improvements.
  • Technical writing, formal presentations, and implementation of Engineering Change Notices.
Work Schedule & Travel

1st shift; Travel <10% annually.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD.
  • Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, vacation, and more.
  • Eligibility for annual incentive compensation programs (subject to business unit and collective‑bargaining agreement).
