Collins Aerospace in Largo, FL is seeking Electronic Technicians for the 1st shift. You will perform electrical tests, troubleshoot, and operate environmental chambers to ensure product conformance. Responsibilities include reading prints, documenting test data, and potentially soldering or assembling components as needed.

U.S. citizenship is required for access to the program; a DoD Secret clearance may be needed. Benefits details are provided during the hiring process.

Competenze

• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance access.
• Pre-qualification test or exam may be updated/re-validated periodically.
• AA/AS degree or higher in electrical/electronics tech, or related field.
• Military electronics training or bachelor's degree in a related field are acceptable.
• 4 years of documented electronic troubleshooting experience in the last 12 years.

Mansioni

• Perform electrical tests and troubleshoot subassemblies and systems to specification.
• Read and follow prints, schematics, and test procedures accurately.
• Operate environmental test chambers and develop data to resolve performance issues.
• May solder or mechanically assemble as needed for testing.
• Prepare test reports; reject non-conforming assemblies and document alterations.
• Collect data and maintain records; handle hazardous materials per regulations.
• May complete pre-qualification tests and maintain re-validated status.
• Possibly obtain required government security clearance.
