Collins Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to work onsite in Largo, FL. The role focuses on supporting depot and production programs, developing manufacturing documentation, and improving processes using digital tools at the Largo Consolidated Manufacturing Center.

Responsibilities include tooling planning, work cell layout optimization, and collaboration with design and program management across RTX facilities. The position requires a DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) plus 2+ years of experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Experience with military standards and specifications.
• Experience with disposition of nonconforming material using root cause and corrective action.

Responsabilités

• Follow established procedures to meet program and site targets.
• Conduct technical and manufacturing data verifications and safety assessments.
• Assist in developing work cell layouts to optimize product flow.
• Plan, develop, and document tooling and fixtures for manufacturing.
• Apply Lean manufacturing principles and related procedures.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on policies and practices.
• Leverage knowledge of the work area and project management as needed.
• Position yourself for technical and managerial career advancement.
