Job summary

Packsize International in Louisville, KY, is seeking a hands-on Test Engineer to join our Testing & Development team. You will plan, execute, and analyze tests for Packsize machines and subsystems, ensuring product quality, reliability, and performance.

The role involves working with electro-mechanical systems, data-driven validation, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting, experience with PFAT/NPD testing, and can mentor technicians while driving

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
Experience with electro-mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test procedures, and test reports for Packsize products and subsystems.
Independently perform hands-on testing of electro-mechanical systems, software features, consumables, and integrated machine functionality.
Lead factory acceptance testing (PFAT), life-cycle management testing, NPD testing and customer-specific validation activities.
Analyze test data to identify trends, defects, performance gaps, and opportunities for product improvement.
Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, controls, software, and system-level issues.
Define acceptance criteria, testing methodologies, and data collection requirements for new and existing products.
