Job summary

Packsize is seeking a hands-on Test Engineer to join the Testing & Development team in Louisville, KY. You will plan, execute, and analyze tests for Packsize machines and subsystems to ensure quality, reliability, and performance.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, data analysis, and collaboration across Engineering, Quality, and Production teams. Onsite work with opportunities for PFAT, NPD, and sustaining validation activities is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience with electro-mechanical systems or automated machinery.
• Ability to collect and interpret data using reporting tools.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with FAT/PFAT, validation, or reliability testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and reports.
• Perform hands-on testing of electro-mechanical systems and software features.
• Lead PFAT, life-cycle, NPD testing and customer validation.
• Analyze test data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues.
• Document results and actions in approved systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, Materials, and Field Service.
• Design and improve test fixtures, tooling, and automation.
• Mentor Test Technicians.
• Support field investigations and escalations.
